Summary

Our team at OUTBermuda is looking for a talented Social Media Manager to administer both OUTBermuda and Bermuda PRIDE social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook. You will be responsible for creating original text, images, and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our community outreach and awareness goals. As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of online traffic and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with OUTBermuda’s goals
  • Work with the Executive Director to create and implement a monthly social media calendar
  • Create, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Executive Director to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner (max 24 hours)
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures
  • Suggest and implement new content to develop brands, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and apps

Expected salary & scope of work

  • $30.00 Per Hour
  • 10 Hours Per Week
  • 15 - 20 Posts Per Month (Split across both accounts)

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or relevant field would be an asset, however, this is not a requirement

Summary

Our team at OUTBermuda is looking for an experienced and team oriented Project Manager to help plan, coordinate, and execute Bermuda PRIDE 2023. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for working with multiple stakeholders, teams, and individuals both in person and online to ensure the successful planning and execution of PRIDE 2023. We expect you to be sensitive to the needs and lived experiences of our LGBTQ+ community. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to clearly express our mission, values, and plans verbally and in writing. As PRIDE Project Manager you will be responsible for maintaining good working relationships and morale of the PRIDE Subcommittee Members and volunteers. You must be able and willing to delegate tasks and respectfully manage others under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organization of Bermuda PRIDE 2023 events such as decor, transportation, location, catering, meetings, invitee lists, promotional material, equipment, contracts, and more
  • Work with the Executive Director (ED) to build, manage and direct the PRIDE 2023 Subcommittee and Volunteers
  • Collaborate and communicate with the ED and Social Media Manager to ensure brand consistency in community outreach and marketing initiatives
  • Set and lead organized, clarifying, and action oriented Subcommittee team meetings
  • Manage budget, payments, invoices and financial duties in a timely and professional manner
  • Work with stakeholders, businesses, vendors and artists to establish good working relationships and attend of local and online meetings to ensure open and clear communication
  • Work with our Pride Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that all volunteers required for the execution of PRIDE 2023 understand their roles and expectations
  • Manage and use the pride@outbermuda.org account

Expected salary & scope of work

  • $75.00 Per Hour
  • 8 - 10 Hours Per Week
  • March to September ($25,000 Max)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years management experience including project and staff management
  • Minimum 2 years event management experience
  • Knowledge and experience working with diverse groups
  • Excellent communication, analytical and multitasking skills
